MTR power failure strands 30,000

Updated at 3.15pm:
More than 30,000 commuters were delayed on Wednesday morning by a peak-hour breakdown on the MTR's Island Line.
The suspension of service between Causeway Bay and Chai Wan was due to power failure at Tai Koo Station at about 8.30am. Some passengers were trapped inside a stationary train in the tunnel for about 20 minutes.
Commuters were forced to take other means of transport, causing congestion on Hong Kong Island.
An MTR spokesman said they had made announcements for passengers at every station, and had asked other transport companies to strengthen their services to help the affected passengers.
Normal service resumed at 9.25am.
